Launching a new product is always difficult. Launching an adrenaline pumped outdoor laser combat game that's new to the UK however is another kind of hard but that's what The Wargame Company (Devon) did with our help in the beginning of 2006.
Woodland Laser Combat is the next generation in outdoor combat. Unlike paintball you don't need to worry about explaining all the bruises or paint covered clothing to your boss because it's all gone high tech. Woodland Laser Combat allows even the most timid of fighter enjoy taking down a few of the unsuspecting enemies.
Based just outside Plymouth and Tavistock in Devon, The Wargame Company (Devon) was one of our first website clients and we were overjoyed when we were asked to help promote this new fun and exciting outdoor laser combat game by developing them a brochure website. As the future of the game was still unknown The Wargame Company (Devon) wanted a simple brochure website that would allow them to highlight some of the benefits of playing laser combat and encourage people to sign up.
Since it's launch in February 2006, both the website and outdoor laser combat game have been a raving success. Although we never intended -or expected high search engine placements for the site, thanks to the new Wargame Company (Devon) CSS layout we had completed previously, the site quickly gained first page positions on relevant keywords such as "Laser Combat" which the site continues to enjoy.
