Local agricultural chemical storage and transfer company Wisdom Systems had an existing website which wasn't quite meeting the demands of their growing business.

They came to us wanting an updated website which was easy to use and informative but also influenced by the countryside.

How We Helped

Consideration had to be given to the potential users of the website as they ranged from farmers to heads of multi-national chemical corporations. Some of the users would have limited English due to Wisdom System' international client base.

We built an easy-to-use website which was designed around a photo of the beautiful Wye Valley. To give control to Wisdom Systems, we built the website on our Content Management System.

To accommodate the international clientele, we incorporated Google's "Translate" service which automatically translates the website into the visitor's language preference. This was a simple but effective solution which would give us time to establish which languages the website should be translated into. The expectation is the majority would be German.

Sprayer Saving Calculator

One of the core pieces of functionality Wisdom Systems' current provider weren't able to provide was a version of their offline sprayer saving calculator. Their sprayer saving calculator was based in Excel and despite being comprehensive was still complicated.

We used the Excel spreadsheet to create an online Sprayer Saving Calculator for this website. The user enters the minimum of information and the website then produces a report displaying how much money they could save by using different equipment.  

By capturing the customer's name and email address, we can not only automatically email the report to the visitor but it also gives Wisdom Systems the contact details of qualified leads.
