During the 2020 Trump vs. Biden election, we partnered with AlphaStream to develop a high-impact campaign microsite showcasing their real-time newsfeed tracking capabilities. The concept was conceived in a rapid brainstorming session, and given our deep familiarity with AlphaStream’s suite of APIs and data expertise, we were brought in to execute the project at speed.
The microsite went through several iterations to align with key election milestones:
- In the run-up to the election, it provided a comparative analysis between traditional pollster predictions and AlphaStream’s own AI-driven sentiment tracking.
- On election day, it dynamically visualized the real-time voting direction as results came in.
- Once results were officially announced, it transformed into a live updates and announcement hub.
A critical objective of the campaign was to drive traffic to one of AlphaStream’s customer services. To achieve this, we integrated user data capture mechanisms that allowed visitors to subscribe for election night updates and future marketing outreach.
We leveraged multiple technologies, including APIs, Ably for real-time data streaming, and CreateSend for audience engagement, ensuring the site remained flexible and responsive throughout the campaign.
The success of the project extended beyond its technical execution—garnering attention from the press and earning features in several industry publications.
