In 2010, we developed a custom middleware integration for Roman Originals, connecting their e-commerce platform Venda with their RSG ERP system. The goal was to automate catalogue management, stock synchronization, and order processing, ensuring smooth operations while minimizing manual workload for their internal teams.

Venda’s APIs were used to push and update product data dynamically from RSG, allowing Roman Originals to maintain accurate and up-to-date product listings without manual intervention.

- Automated Catalogue Synchronization: The middleware extracted product details from RSG and mapped them to Venda’s required formats, ensuring all pricing, descriptions, and attributes were consistently updated.
- Real-Time Stock Updates: Warehouse stock levels were monitored and uploaded periodically to Venda, preventing overselling and ensuring accurate availability.
- Order Processing & Stock Deduction: When orders were placed online, stock levels in RSG were automatically decremented, keeping inventory in sync across all sales channels.
