In 2018, we collaborated with Brightwells to enhance their online property listings by integrating the Vebra Alto API into their existing Umbraco-based website. This strategic integration aimed to automate the synchronization of property data, thereby reducing administrative efforts and ensuring that the website consistently displayed the most current property information.
The project involved several key steps:
1. API Integration: We seamlessly connected the Vebra Alto API with Brightwells' Umbraco backend. This connection facilitated the automatic retrieval and updating of property listings, eliminating the need for manual data entry and minimizing the risk of errors.
2. Data Mapping and Normalization: Given the potential differences in data structures between Vebra Alto and Brightwells' existing system, we conducted thorough data mapping and normalization. This process ensured that all property attributes, such as descriptions, images, and pricing, were accurately aligned and displayed correctly on the website.
3. Performance Optimization: To maintain optimal website performance, we implemented efficient data handling practices. This included scheduling regular data synchronization intervals and employing caching mechanisms to reduce server load and enhance user experience.
The successful integration of the Vebra Alto API resulted in a dynamic and up-to-date property section on Brightwells' website. This enhancement not only streamlined internal processes but also provided visitors with reliable and current property information, thereby improving overall user engagement and satisfaction.
