We’ve been busy and are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced C# developer to join our team and work on some of the exciting projects we have on.
What we’re looking for
A full-time (37.5hrs pw), fully remote and C# developer who likes problem solving.
What you’ll get
Flexible working hours, unlimited holiday, up-to £60,000pa (dependant on experience) and a chance to make your mark.
Who we are
TSD is a software house that specialises in bespoke applications and e-commerce. We get to work on all sorts of fun projects ranging from realtime bidding systems powered by SignalR, high traffic e-commerce sites, big data applications (including Snowflake) to high-speed transactional middleware transferring data from one system to another.
You can see some of our work at http://thesitedoctor.co.uk/portfolio/
What you’ll be doing
You will be mainly coding new and exisiting ASP.Net MVC C# and .Net Core projects. There will be system architecture and mentoring opportunities open to you should they interest you.
Ideally, you will code DRY/SOLID however we understand that not everyone has been given the chance so you should at least have a desire to learn.
We work predominantly on the Microsoft stack and you’ll get to work with C#, MVC, SQL Server, ServiceBus, Azure Functions and all the other exciting emerging tech.
All projects are hosted in Github and we use YouTrack as our task management system and AppVeyor/Github Actions as our CI/CD standard setup.
We are truly remote (and have been for 10+ years). Daily stand-ups/sit-downs are done via Zoom and we keep in touch throughout the day on Slack.
You will mostly be working collaboratively on projects -especially with dedicated front-end developers who will make your functionality engaging for the users. You will be working on a combination of existing projects which we maintain and new projects which may require your input on the architecture.
Who’s right for the role?
You should be someone who is passionate about technology and want to better user’s experiences.
Previous commercial experience is desirable but if you know your stuff, let’s chat as this or another role may still be open.
We don’t expect you to have “done it all before” but bringing ideas to the table is a big bonus in our eyes as your views count.
Want to know more? We're happy to answer any questions before you apply.
No recruiters, agencies or people who aren’t (but still are) please ;)
